quotes It is a 24" Ignit rim. 42mm wide and weighing 650g undrilled (613g drilled), Really strong and light, dunno if they make a 26" version.

quotes yeah trials rocks! I remember when I used to do that back in the day! I still miss my custom carbonfibre trials frame...

quotes she looks slacker...did you get an angleset?

SintraFreeride commented under DAMZ's photo ( Dec 27, 2011 at 11:22 )
quotes I'm getting the same bars but in black. Will cut them down to 740-750mm because 780mm is too wide for Châtel.

quotes I've been running wider rims than the norm since 1999. My XC bike back then used Mavic 521 28mm with 2.1 tires. Now I run 32mm with 2.2-2.3 for XC and my DH bike rocks 42mm trial rims with 2.6-2.8 tires I'm able to run less pressure 22psi (single ply) for XC and 15-16psi for DH, have more grip and fewer pinch flats (XC). AND the bike looks so much cooler, more moto! Haven't switched to tubeless cause I like to switch tires frequently for different terrain, though I have used it for trials back in the day (loved it). http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/6853305/

quotes I ride over the back end all the time though I dig that style. But just doesnt feel right for the steep terrain here in the alpes...

quotes yes I know it is oversteer. I personally cant do it on my downhill bike because I have a 2.8 rear tyre. I only manage to slide it when the tread is almost gone! Looks cool though and I've seen alot of people use that technic in a lot of vids.

quotes I agree that he is sliding the rear end on purpose. However if he had some sticky rubber on the back it'd be hard to pull off. 60a or 70a slide better than 40a!
